Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your booking. By completing your booking with us, you agree to abide by the following policies:

1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

1.1 Cancellation
Customers wishing to cancel their booking must notify us in writing via email. The eligibility for a refund and the amount refunded are determined based on the following timeframes:

  • More than 40 days prior to departure: Full refund, subject to a 10% processing fee.
  • 30 to 40 days prior to departure: 50% refund, subject to a 10% processing fee.
  • Less than 30 days prior to departure: No refund will be provided.

1.2 Refund Process
To initiate a refund request, customers must submit written notice or email our customer support team. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon. Any applicable processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

1.3 Exceptions
The following exceptions apply to our cancellation and refund policy:

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances, Kashmir Escape reserves the right to cancel bookings. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund, minus the processing fee.
  • No-Show Policy: If a customer fails to arrive on the scheduled start date without prior notice, no refund will be provided.

1.4 Refund Timeline
Refund requests, once approved, will be processed within 10 business days. However, the time it takes for the refunded amount to reflect in the customer’s account may vary depending on the payment method and the customer’s financial institution.

2. Promotional Material

Kashmir Escape reserves the right to capture photographs or videos of participants during the tour for marketing or promotional purposes. Customers who object to the use of their likeness for these purposes must notify us in writing prior to the commencement of the tour.

3. Identity Proof

Customers are required to carry valid identification for the duration of their trip:

  • International Visitors: A valid passport and visa.
  • Indian Citizens: A government-issued identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card.
4. Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to preserving the natural beauty of Kashmir. All customers must act responsibly and respect the local environment. This includes respecting wildlife, supporting sustainable businesses, conserving resources, and adhering to leave-no-trace principles. Activities such as deforestation, harm to wildlife, or pollution of water bodies will result in legal action. Customers are strongly advised to avoid any such actions.
